アメリカのSKELETAL REMAINSは2011年結成。
2012年に発表されたファーストアルバムはオランダデスメタルカルト、PESTILENCEやカナダのGORGUTS "Considered Dead"を彷彿とさせるハイクオリティなアルバムでまたたくまにデスメタルシーンで注目を浴びる。
DEATHのChuck SchuldinerやPESTILENCEのMartin van Drunenを彷彿とさせるデスボーカルに邪悪スラッシュメタルからの系譜の延長線上にあるリフワーク、そしてSKELETAL REMAINSの魅力でもある淡麗にして切れ味するどいスウィープ奏法を多用したギターソロ！
2015年にはセカンドアルバム をリリースし2016年には6月からHellfestを皮切りにOBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL出演を含む2ヶ月のヨーロッパツアーを敢行。
いままさに旬と言ってよいデスメタルバンドが浅草デスフェストに登場いたします!

Skeletal Remains is an American death metal band formed in 2011 in Whittier, California. They achieved international acclaim with their debut full-length in 2012, strongly came forward with quality tracks which are at times reminiscent of the Dutch death cultists PESTILENCE or other times, the Canadian elite GORGUTS' "Considered Dead" album.
Topped with some soul shattering Chuck Schuldiner moments, the vocals hit the spot right on if you're a fan of Martin van Drunen of PESTILENCE. Guitar riffs are called by the evil thrash tradition and one cannot simply miss their trademark solos, clear-edged sweeps and abuse!
The quartet released their second full-length in 2015, followed by the two-month European Tour in 2016 where they hit the stages at Hellfest and the Obscene Extreme Festival.
